Enjoying the Cooler Weather!
Targeting Bass in TransitionAs the weather cools down, the Bass start to become very active and will move from lake to lake. We are seeing tons of baitfish in the canals and on the major lake points and ledges. We're catching many Bass in the 2-3 pound range and are getting bit a few times a day by fish in the 4-7 pound range! Bass are also schooling which makes for some incredible, visual fishing since they jump out of the water! Targeting 10-15ft of water on main lake points, drop offs, eel grass, and grass shorelines has been the most effective. Since we've received a lot of rain this past month, there are also large numbers of Bass up shallow around the Kissimmee Grass and Lilly Pads. The frog bite has been super fun and violent!
