Bass Fishing is Heating Up and the Weather is Cooling Down! October 2020

Enjoying the Cooler Weather!

We get very excited for our clients to join us this time of year for our Bass fishing charters in Orlando on the Butler Chain of Lakes! As the weather begins to slightly cool down, the Bass become very active and are willing to hit a variety of artificial lures. Topwater frogs, flukes, swimbaits and a variety of other lures have been crushing the Bass!

Targeting Bass in Transition

As the weather cools down, the Bass start to become very active and will move from lake to lake. We are seeing tons of baitfish in the canals and on the major lake points and ledges. We're catching many Bass in the 2-3 pound range and are getting bit a few times a day by fish in the 4-7 pound range! Bass are also schooling which makes for some incredible, visual fishing since they jump out of the water! Targeting 10-15ft of water on main lake points, drop offs, eel grass, and grass shorelines has been the most effective. Since we've received a lot of rain this past month, there are also large numbers of Bass up shallow around the Kissimmee Grass and Lilly Pads. The frog bite has been super fun and violent!
We can't wait to get you on the water so give Captain Austin Keaton a call at 407-455-4521 or email nativebassfishing@gmail.com to book your Orlando fishing charters today!
