Topwater Blowups!

April has provided yet another great few weeks of fishing. Clients are having so much fun catching Bass on topwater and weightless lures. We are watching Bass crush their lures which is so fun to watch. Fish are on the move as it has been warming up. 

Windy Conditions and Topwater Lures

We have had endless windy days which has made the Bass really interested in topwater lures. We will fish around tall grass with our lures in anticipation of a violent strike. Simple colors have been very affective like silver or blue. Making long casts and working the lures constantly without stopping them has been getting the most bites. Mid mornings have been productive for catching the schooling fish and the afternoons have been the time for topwater lures.
