Big Topwater Blowups 

Fernando is a huge Peacock Bass fisherman back in Brazil. When he emailed me, he asked if we could use topwater lures because that is his favorite kind of fishing. I rigged up my heavy baitcaster rods and we fished the shallows, in search of big topwater blowups from Bass!

Fishing Shallow Grass Beds and Lily Pads

We started our Bass Fishing Charters in Orlando covering lot's of water, which I typically do when looking for a nice topwater bite. I used my Minn Kota trolling motor to work my boat throught dense grass and Lily Pads, while Fernando casted a green Zoom fluke as far as he could. I had him work the fluke very quickly over grass and pads, anxiously waiting for that explosive topwater bite. Fernando had multiple, big blowups on the surface that made both of us yell and get excited! This type of fishing is incredibly exciting and will get your heart racing!
