Finding Transition Zones

We are in a time of year when Bass are in whats called transition. Cooler water temperatures in the mid 60's that warm to the low 70's triggers this transition. Many large fish are being caught!

Fishing Near Coves and Backwater Canals

As more females prepare to move shallow to spawn, they will be out deep feeding in preparation for their taxing spawn. We look for transition zones that these Bass will stage on to feed before they move shallow. There are many spawning flats on the Butler Chain of Lakes and Conway Chain of Lakes. Locating these spawning flats clues us in to where to fish. Big female Bass will feed on deep drop offs, ledges or lake points near these spawning flats. The deep water bite has been incredible for the last week and we expect it to continue being great for the next few days. Give me a call at 407-455-4521 or email nativebassfishing@gmail.com to book your Orlando fishing charters today!
